Sunnyside Road
This is Sunnyside Road, and this is the view from my house. I took the photograph in the early morning after the snow, when the sunshine was just starting to break through. Sunnyside Road is a very quiet road. It runs back off of the Esplanade, and we all have a wonderful view of the sea. Whilst it’s bleak, I think it’s still beautiful.

- If you turned your camera towards Sandgate from this spot you would see my old house in Wellington Place. (My Dad used to own the left-hand half of the big white house on the corner of Wellington Place viewable from the seafront when you look up the hill.) There used to be another 3-story house alongside ours which had a fantastic grape vine growing in the back garden - now has 3 houses on the same site. by Jumper (dcollins@electec.ac.nz)
